Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Our family is a Disney family. We love going, playing and staying. We have been trying to change things up a bit and do something different each time we visit-which honestly isn’t that difficult. Our last stay was at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Caribbean Beach Resort (CBR) is nothing short of magical. Disney does it again by creating a truly Caribbean feel through their magical imagineering. We hopped on board the magical express and were whisked away to CBR. Upon arrival we immediately began to feel that Caribbean feel. The resort is painted in bright colors, plays island music and is surrounded by beaches, a bay area and fun pools.

What’s a Fast Pass?

Disney has created a fast pass system which allows guests to get into a faster ride line. Upon entering the line (que) you will notice two entrances. One entrance will read standby and one will read fast pass. If you have signed up for a fast pass you will be ushered into a line where the wait will be 10-15 minutes in general.

What Rides Should I Fast Pass?

Fast pass is system in place at Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort that allows guests to make reservations for popular rides, shows and character greetings.  One of the most common questions I get asked as a travel agent is what rides should I fast pass? This is a great question because not all rides require or need a fast pass. One of the most fun things to do at Disney World is to see all the amazing Disney Characters! It’s all about the magic and meeting your favorite or meeting them all. Characters are for young and old. Going on an adult trip-characters are just as fun for adults and kids. It’s time to grab your camera, autograph book and pen and let’s go!

Disney’s Dining Plan

One of the main questions I get asked about traveling at Disney World is should I get the dining plan? Walt Disney World (WDW) offers several different meal plans to meet a variety of different travelers. WDW has some amazing restaurants not to mention fun character dining so it’s easy to see how dining is such an important part of the WDW experience. Meal plans are offered as part of a WDW package add on to guests staying on property. Meal plans are also for the length of stay so if you’re staying for 5 nights it covers 5 nights-it’s all or nothing. You cannot pick how many days you’d like to do the meal plan, it is simply added to your stay. Let’s take a look at each meal plan, what they offer and the pros and cons of each.
