Liberty Tree Tavern is a sit down restaurant located in the Liberty Square section of Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Liberty Tree is themed as a colonial American tavern and has rooms decked out and named after such American Revolutionaries as Jefferson and Franklin.
Liberty’s lobby has a home like feel complete with a colonial fireplace kitchen.
Liberty is easily one of my favorite restaurants and I try to snag a reservation every time we are at Disney World. The dining can be described as American Thanksgiving Dinner fare. Dining is served family style and includes the Patriot’s Platter, which serves up all-you-care-to-enjoy roasted turkey, pot roast, and oven-roasted pork served with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, seasonal veggies, and herb stuffing. (A plant-based version of this meal and allergy-friendly options are also available.) The meal also includes the famous Ooey Gooey Toffee dessert at the end.
You can find the official menu here. Oh and yes you can always request chicken tenders and fries for those picky eaters. It’s not on the menu but Disney is always accommodating.
Liberty is a sit down dining restaurant and is on the Disney dining plan for 1 credit. There is a small set of restrooms located up the stairs. It’s fun to make a trip while there because you can oversee the restaurant from the walkway balcony. You can easily check into this restaurant with mobile check in on our My Disney Experience app if you have made a previous reservation. Annual Passholders do receive a discount at this dining location.
