If you have a girl in your life adding a trip to the American Girl Doll store in New York City should be on your list for shopping! You can find the store a quick walk away from Times Square! Times Square is a great place to centrally stay for families since there are so many fun shops and happenings close to that area of NYC, as well as being close to numerous metro stations.
Once you enter you can see just how big this shop is and all the doll delights in store.
We of course headed right to the Courtney 1986 section because we are big 80’s fans.
We found tons of interactive things…
like a free arcade, rotating closet, and bean bags chairs. We also found a life sized Julie’s chair with music.
Or you can sing like Melody…
Or maybe drive Julie’s car?
The life sized doll sets are pretty cool and way over the top so in other words amazing!
You can also take your doll to the hair salon to fix her hair, get a new do or earrings.
We loved our visit and had fun exploring the multiple rooms and levels of the store. Everything in NYC is BIG!
Don’t forget to bring your doll and your money because you’ll definitely want all the fun things.
