The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze

Croton-on-Hudson, New York

The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze is the perfect night out for people and families of all ages. The lighted display hosts over 7,000 jack-o-lanterns all of which are themed and hand carved. Make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes early since there will be a line of traffic getting into parking, but parking will be free.

You will receive an online ticket or you can print out your ticket to bring with you. I also recommend buying tickets well in advance since dates and times sell out. Purchasing tickets at least two months in advance or sooner will allow you enough time to get the dates and times you’ll want. The closer to Halloween the more limited tickets will become and also Columbus day weekend tickets tend to sell out as well so keep that in mind when planning. Make sure you plan ahead and wear comfortable walking shoes and have sweatshirts, jackets and hats.

Once you scan in you will start your journey!

Each area has a different theme and is well laid out.

The event runs from September through November.

Blaze is set in an 18th century landscape and all the proceeds from the event goes to the non profit Hudson Valley Historic society.

The whole event takes about an hour to walk through and is set to music. You can also buy food and drinks as well.

Tickets can only be purchased online so let your travel agent know beforehand since they cannot be purchased on site. Blaze is the perfect addition to a trip to the Hudson Valley area of New York!
