Disney World, Florida

Grand Floridian Café is a sit down restaurant located on the first floor of the main building of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The restaurant is themed in a Victorian style which matches the theming of Grand Floridian Resort itself.

Grand Floridian serves American food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s especially nice if you’re staying at Grand to pop in for dinner on arrival day or breakfast on departure day. We typically always have dinner at our resort restaurant the day we arrive. It’s a nice way to get acclimated to your resort and take a break from traveling. It’s also a quick monorail ride from Magic Kingdom and an easy way to get away from the business of the parks for a meal….and of course to see the amazing Grand lobby!

The New York Strip Steak was amazing and those cheesy potato gratins were heavenly.

Of course you know they had Chicken Tenders and French Fries-NOT on the menu but always available by request so yay for the picky eaters! Or a cheese pizza!

I’m also a firm believer in ordering any dessert shaped like Mickey while visiting and we were not disappointed. The cookies and cream mousse Mickey Dome was so good.

Grand Floridian Café does accept the Disney Dining plan and is a 1 credit restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended. Mobile check in is also available. Seating is available inside and outside.
