The Disneyland Paris app is available on both IOS and Android smartphones and will help you navigate the Disneyland Paris parks as well as hold your park tickets and hotel reservations. Let’s take a quick peek at navigating the app.
Once you download the app you’ll need to create a log in and password. It’s easiest to just save these to your phones password or face log in for easy access in the parks or on the go.
The bottom of the app shows you buttons for easy access. If you push the account button you can access your account.
This section will hold your hotel bookings which, if booked by your travel advisor-me have already been linked, access to your reserved dining previously booked by your travel advisor, me again 🙂 and tickets. Now unlike Disney World and Disneyland in the United States if you’re staying on site at Disneyland Paris your tickets are not stored in the app or activated until you physically check into your resort. Those tickets are issued to your through your Magic Pass card. Those are picked up at check in. Once you scan them the very first time at the park entrance they become active and then show up in your reservation on your app.
You will see the dates of your hotel and the reservation number too.
They also give you a fun countdown until your trip!
You can also book additional sit down dining….
as well as see dining that your travel advisor has already reserved for you or you can make modifications.
You can also search for additional dining in the food tab. Once in the parks you can use the map feature to see wait times and to find your way around the parks. The WIFI is glitchy so be mindful! It’s best to make a plan before you leave home and have a general idea of where things are before you leave. It’s not the United States and not all Cast Members speak English or know where attractions are…..so have a plan for your must do’s!
On the home menu you’ll find the daily park hours and schedule for shows times and fireworks shows as well. If you’re staying on site don’t forget you get an hour of extra magic time in the morning!
If you want to purchase premier access which is their version of Genie + you can do so from their main page. Make sure you check their pricing! It does not cover every ride so check the list of rides as well. You can purchase it on a day to day basis from the app.
