Margaritaville isn’t just a song….it’s a resort! Margaritaville has turned into a resort brand with several different locations and even a cruise ship. Let’s explore Margaritaville Orlando.
This resort is located about 30-40 minutes from MCO airport in Orlando so it’s perfect if you’re planning on exploring the Orlando area. You have two options when staying at Margaritaville either a resort room or a cottage. Resort rooms are close to the lobby and pool areas and cottages are within walking distance of both but are either to the right or left of the main building. The lobby is beautiful with its themed seating areas.
The lobby also houses a sit down restaurant called Euphoria…
The Provisions area which has specialty coffees…
grab and go food options…
and a selection of alcohol for purchase.
You can also get some fun souvenirs or pool supplies at the store.
There’s also a fitness center and spa.
Once you go down to the pool area you can get towels and buzz in with your room card.
The pool is actually two large pools side by side.
The pool area hosts cabanas that you can rent, a grill with food and drink and activities throughout the day. There are employees walking around ready to take your pina colada order.
The resort also offers daily activities so make sure you grab an activities sheet when you check in.
The property itself is big but easy to navigate.
The resort also offers daily shuttle back and forth to Disney (it’s a good neighbor option so you can book a package with tickets), Universal and SeaWorld, all included. There’s an H2O water park across the street, outlets including dining (Ford’s Garage), a movie theater, arcade and shopping. It’s a great location for staying off site from popular area theme parks while still being close or great for a vacation all on it’s own. We will definitely be going back!
