Miami, Florida

So you’ve booked your cruise? Now what? I recommend flying down a day before your cruise departs to ensure you don’t miss sail time! I always pick a hotel close to the port for easy boarding the day of your cruise. Cruises leave on their sail times and it’s important to be on land ready to go because they don’t wait for delayed or cancelled flights.

Marriott’s Courtyard Miami Airport Hotel is perfect for anyone looking to board a cruise out of the port of Miami. The hotel offers free shuttles from the airport to the hotel and they come about every 15 minutes. Shuttles are located right outside of baggage claim, across the walkway and under the covered area. Simply wave to the driver when you see the Marriott bus and you’ll be on your way.

The hotel is a complex just 5 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the port. There’s a pool, shop and plenty of eating options. The rooms are up to date and modern.

You’ll have a coffee machine and a mini fridge. You can also find a grab and go pantry in the lobby with sandwiches, microwave meals, fruit and more.

There are also several eateries in the lobby. Perfect for a quick breakfast before you head to the port for your cruise.

The hotel offers a shuttle to the port for a fee. You can simply sign up when you check in.
