Disneyland, California

Disneyland has a variety of add on special dining options that include snacks, drinks, or meals where you get the added bonus of having preferred seating for fireworks, parades, or water shows.

Disneyland’s Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace evening dining package offers just that. It’s not exactly a “dining package” or a “dessert party” but more of a bento book with some desserts and some savory items and drinks. I’ll show you all that was served in this post.

The best part of the dining package is the reserved seating for the nighttime fireworks show at Disneyland.

Reservations can be made 60 days before your travel date and are recommended since they usually sell out. You can select an arrival time between 7-8:20 pm the night of your event. Keep in mind if you are outside the park and are coming into the park for the show the entry lines will be long but move fast so make sure you leave enough time. Once you arrive you’ll look for the podium to the left of the Pizza Planet rocket for sign in.

Once you sign in you’ll be directed to walk up a walkway and stairs to another podium where Cast Members will give you an event lanyard and assign you a table. You’ll be walked to your table and are then able to get your Bento box and drink. You are also able to leave the area and come back in time for the fireworks but make sure you have your lanyard on. There are bathrooms located in the lounge area in the inside area and your table will be located on the outside balcony area for fireworks viewing.

Once you get your table you can put your things down and grab your Bento Box and drinks.

Let’s see what’s inside the bento boxes, which you get as a souvenir.

They have sodas, water, a specialty drink, hot tea and cocoa. They will run out by the fireworks time so if you want something get it when you arrive.

There’s also chairs lined up closer to the fireworks that you can switch to in case your table is farther away.

The food was more of snacks than a “dining package” but it was nice to not have to deal with the crowds and see the fireworks show while sitting, snacking and have a bathroom close by. Our check in time was 8:20. I recommend selecting an earlier time for a chance to get a table closer to the show without the overhang from the roof, especially since you can come and go after your table is assigned.
