Blizzard Beach is a themed water park at the Disney World Resort in Florida. Blizzard Beach has a variety of different attractions for all ages themed after a Blizzard that is thawing in the Florida sun.
Blizzard Beach tickets can be purchased as a day ticket or as part of your Disney World vacation by selecting the Park Hopper Plus option as your ticket option. If you’re staying on property at Disney World you can access Blizzard Beach through Disney Transportation buses and the bus stops drop you off just outside the park.
There’s plenty to do at the park but first stop is the lockers. There are plenty of lockers available for you to drop off your bags and personal belongings. No need to bring towels since they’re free at kiosks throughout the park. You’ll first purchase a locker rental at the kiosk.
You’ll then be issued a receipt with your locker number on it.
Then you can proceed to your locker and store your belongings before exploring the park.
Then you can spend all your time at the wave pool.
or spend all day in the lazy river!
There are also plenty of waterslides and toddler areas too!
Oh and don’t forget to pick up some mini donuts while you’re there.
Blizzard Beach is a great spot for a midweek break from the parks. Water parks are open throughout the year at Disney and the water is also heated in the colder months.
