Anaheim, California

If you’re looking to travel to the Happiest Place on Earth then you no doubt want to stay on property! Disneyland hosts three on site resorts the original Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier Hotel and the Grand Californian. There are many benefits to staying on property including service, Disney attention to detail, and walkability to the parks. Let’s take a look at the Disneyland Hotel and all it has to offer!

The Disneyland Hotel is split into four separate towers-Fantasy, Adventure and Frontier and the newest villa tower will be housing the Disney Vacation Club Villas.

The main lobby area hosts displays of Disneyland history through the decades.

There were fun picture spots sprinkled throughout the lobby as well like this autotopia car.

You’ll be welcomed into your room in typical Disney fashion and have up to date parks information displayed on your tv screen.

The rooms come complete with magical headboards that light up and play music and fireworks. Check out my Instagram post to see the headboard in action!

I loved the attention to detail on the carpeting too!

On site dining includes the ever popular character dining Goofy’s Kitchen!

Tangaroa Terrace-Tropical Bar and Grill

The ever popular Trader Sam’s Bar-fun things happen depending upon what you order!

Disneyland Hotel also offers in room dining and they have their own coffee shop. Reservations are recommended for sit down dining at least 60 days in advance and can be made by your travel advisor (ME)-especially for Goofy’s Kitchen and Trader Sam’s! Those are virtually impossible to get after the 60 day our mark.

Did I mention the pools?

Check out the monorail slides…

Plenty of outdoor seating too.

Disneyland Hotel is full of history and nostalgia. It’s definitely a bucket list stay. The walkability factor makes staying at the happiest place on Earth even happier!
