The Lantern Resort is the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Santa’s Village. It’s literally down the street! Families have several options when staying at the resort. You can choose to either stay at the motel, camp with your RV or camp with a pop up tent. We opted to stay in the motel. Our room was the perfect size for an overnight trip.
Check in was at the general store. Upon arrival I parked and checked in there and was given a map and our keys.
Parking was just outside our room. If you have mobility issues make sure you request a ground floor room since there is no elevator.
Our room had just enough space for the three of us, you can also request adjoining rooms for larger families.
Room to store clothes, a fridge and television…

A separate shower and sink area as well.
There’s a beautiful walkway behind the motel area…
leading up to a pool…
There’s also daily events and activities.
The general store also houses movies you can rent, s’mores supplies for purchases, snacks, drinks, ice cream, slushies and plenty of souvenirs.
Did I mention you can walk to Santa’s Village? You can-it’s literally this close.
