Walt Disney World, Florida

What exactly is a dessert party? Disney dessert parties offer guests the opportunity to grab treats and enjoy a wide variety of nighttime shows at each park in a reserved, less crowded setting. Dessert party offerings differ from park to park and also depending on what time of year you’re visiting. Dessert parties are an additional add on and are not included in the price of day tickets. The parties can be booked through your trusty travel planner-ME. So make sure you ask them about all your dessert party options.

The Magic Kingdom Enchanted Treats and Seat Dessert Party is hosted on selected nights at Magic Kingdom in the Tomorrowland Terrace dining area of Tomorrowland. The party officially starts at about an hour before the fireworks show but people start lining up about an hour and a half before.

Once you sign in you’ll be given a party wristband!

A cast member will then escort you to a table of your choosing. You know which we one we chose of course right in the front!!! It pays to get there early!

Once seated you can go and grab your treats! There was plenty of food and we actually opt to use dessert parties as our dinner for the night we have them booked.

You’ll find desserts…

Fruits, crackers and cheeses…

They also have plenty of drinks… including the famous POG juice, milk and hot cocoa for the Christmas season!

And alcoholic beverages for the adults including champagne and draft beers. Oh and don’t forget sparkling cider in flute glasses!

Once you get your plate you’re welcome to go back and grab another! Cast members will bus your table before the fireworks show starts.

Then sit back, enjoy and watch those fireworks from a nice seat!!!! This particular dessert party has a pre and post fireworks party option which allows you to have treats before the fireworks and then watch from the grassy HUB area (reserved standing room) or watch fireworks in the Hub (reserved standing room) and then have desserts. Each dessert party variation has designated seating. The party option we chose was the seats and treats option so we were seated in the covered area to watch fireworks (this is the preferred option). Dessert parties fill up quickly so let your travel agent know during booking! Parties are paid in advance. It’s a fun way to add a little extra sparkle to your trip!
