Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Jackson Hole is located in Wyoming and is known for it’s famous residents and famous ski areas-Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King Mountain Resort and Grand Targhee Resort. Jackson Hole is an easy stop to make if you’re visiting Yellowstone National Park or Grand Teton National Park it’s just a quick drive. Jackson Hole town square is famous for it’s antler arches which actually come from naturally shed antlers from the local National Elk Refuge and make a fun picture spot.
Jackson Hole is also home to the famous Cowboy Bar but since it literally is a bar-no littles wah wah…
There are plenty of tourist spots and places to grab souvenirs. Oh and a large number of high end art galleries….again famous residents.
There are plenty of nice upscale and family friendly places to eat. We had lunch at this adorable converted drug store.
There are also plenty of places to rent skis and outdoor equipment. You can also find tour companies for white water rafting. Jackson Hole is an easy drive when visiting the southern area of Yellowstone National Park or while visiting Grand Teton. You should definitely make a stop if you’re in the area, but bring your wallet because it’s definitely a more expensive area to shop and eat.
