The museum is small and lovely and they have truly tried to preserve the building and history which of course this history geek loves. Fees are $5 for adults and $2 for kiddos.We started off by seeing antique fire engines.

I have dreamed of Fall and having a chance to share all of those crisp sweater weather activities with our daughter and this was the year! An Unlikely Story is a bookstore and Café located in Plainville, Massachusetts. It’s just the cutest little old timey/hip bookstore that gives a straight nod right to the heritage of the location. Originally built to be a Market in the mid 1800’s this building has been several things-a general store, a tea room and a restaurant. The store is owned by the Kinney’s author of the Wimpy Kid Book Series. One look inside and it’s like you’ve stepped back inside
Old Sturbridge Village is a living museum in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The village depicts a New England town in the 1830’s. The village consists of more than 40 buildings-many originals painstakingly deconstructed, saved and reconstructed on site.
