Boston, MA

The New England Aquarium is located off of Boston’s Central Wharf and is a quick walk from Faneuil Hall and the Quincy Market area.

Tickets are available for advanced purchase online or at the door. Many local libraries also offer discount passes so make sure you check before your visit.

The aquarium hosts a variety of exhibits and is laid out as a circular walkway from the bottom floor to the top so you can easily walk all the way up at a slow pace while seeing all the exhibits. The penguins will be located right when you come in.

You can see the bright colored fish of the coral reefs.

We even saw sea turtles…

There are also jellies and sharks and all the fish you can imagine. As you approach the top of the aquarium you’ll be able to peer into the ginormous tank that runs through the entire spiral walkway.

The aquarium offers virtual encounters, a theater and even Whale Watches in the Boston Harbor. The New England Aquarium is a fun stop on your day trip to Boston.
