Transportation to and from Walt Disney World Resort is one of the many pieces to the puzzles of planning your trip. Disney previously offered the Magical Express service which offered non stop service to and from MCO airport to all Disney World Resorts. Since that change MEARS has picked up that main service and since they were the previous shuttle supplier used by Disney, providing Magical Express many people have naturally shifted over to using them as well.

If you have used Magical Express in the past then you’ll notice MEARS connect is extremally similar. Your travel agent can book this travel component for you prior to your trip. You can purchase the shuttle service at check in but they often sell out so I recommend not waiting until then.

Once your shuttle has been booked you’ll receive an email confirmation that you’ll need to bring with you for your transfer. Once you arrive in Orlando you’ll get your luggage and go down to the shuttle area as instructed on your travel documents.

You’ll then check in at the reservation desk….

You’ll then be directed to stand in your resort line just the same as you did previously with Magical Express. The line wait time is typically 20 minutes but times vary based on how busy it is.

The buses themselves have plush seating and bathrooms. Your luggage will be stored underneath and they can easily store strollers as well. Children do not need car seats for shuttle services in Florida.
