Fantasmic

Fantasmic is a one of a kind nighttime spectacular at Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The show includes pyrotechnics, water projections, fireworks, projections, stunts and music while telling an amazing story.

There are 2 evening shows at 7:30 and 9:00 nightly. Guests are allowed in roughly an hour before each show and guests generally start lining up to get in at about an hour and a half before show times. There are plenty of seats for each showing so as long as you get to the show at least 30 minutes before showing you should be able to find a seat. Of course if you want the best seats the earlier the better. Beware the front three rows have a chance of getting sprayed by water.

Snacks are available at the very top of the stadium seating and also close to the front where the stage is. A wide variety of snacks are at the top of the stadium and mainly popcorn carts are located near the stage.

The show follows our main character Mickey as he strives to overcome Maleficent through his nightmare.

You’ll see a variety of different characters throughout the performance.

If you have a Magic Band+ then your band will light up throughout the performance which is always fun!

The amphitheater is curved so you’ll have a great seat no matter where you sit. Since the show is outdoors make sure you dress appropriately. The show can also be canceled due to weather so make sure you check your My Disney account prior to your showtime.

Dinner packages are also available for this show and can be booked by your travel agent and include dining at some of your favorite restaurants with reserved seating at the show so no need to show up super early! These restaurants include-

• Hollywood Brown Derby
• Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
• Hollywood and Vine
• 50’s Prime Time
• Sci Fi Dine In

In order to qualify for this benefit you have to specifically reserve a Fantasmic dining package not simply dine at one of these restaurants. The meal includes an appetizer, main dish and dessert or buffet and a ticket for reserved seating at Fantasmic. You’ll check in with the reserved check in area and need to show up no later than 25 minutes before show time.
