Stowe, Vermont

There’s a little piece of Austria hidden away in the mountains of Vermont. The Trapp Family Lodge is a charming family lodge run by the Trapp Family-yes the Sound of Music ones!

The resort is beautiful throughout the year and hosts activities throughout the day. It’s a quick drive into the quaint skiing town of Stowe, but once you arrive you won’t need to leave.

You’ll find comfy and spacious rooms.

Check out those views…

The resort also has tons of vintage family paraphernalia.

A lovely resort restaurant which serves all three meals and of course apple strudel. It’s best to make reservations in advance.

Guests have access to the fitness center with a pool, included in your resort fee and services for an additional fee.

There’s also a quick grab and go bakery for morning coffee and pastries or a quick lunch.

The outdoor pool has the most amazing view.

The lodge is a great little spot for families and travelers of all ages. You can find something for everyone in this cute little piece of Austria.
