Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Lewis Falls is located inside the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Lewis Falls is located in the southern portion of Yellowstone. It’s a very easy to get to and a quick drive if you’re staying outside of the southern entrance, and of course if you’re staying inside the park.

Lewis Falls has limited parking but people don’t tend to stay long since it’s a short walk to the top so if you can’t find a parking spot loop around and come back, one will open up! Lewis Falls is very easily accessible for people who have difficulty hiking or walking for long periods. There’s a great picture spot at the bottom of the falls where you can grab a quick shot!

There is a short little hike up to view the top of the falls. Make sure you wear walking/hiking shoes since the ground is a bit sandy/loose.

Almost at the top!
We made it!

Lewis Falls is a great way to start your trip and ease yourself into all the outdoor activities you’ll be doing on your visit to Yellowstone National Park!

Matchy Hats!
