Springfield, Massachusetts

The amazing world of Dr Seuss museum is located in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Dr Seuss museum is part of a family of museums in Springfield, Massachusetts known as the Springfield Museums. Theodor Geisel aka Dr Seuss is actually a Springfield, Massachusetts native and in fact many of his storybooks give a nod to the area!

The museum is oh so colorful and engaging and a dream for any Dr Seuss lover.

The museum is interactive and hands on throughout. Such a great spot especially for the little ones.

The playroom includes…

  • Giant Marble Maze
  • The Seuss Bakery
  • Whoville with Ball Wall and Light Wall
  • Lorax Recycle Game
  • And more!

The upstairs area includes artifacts and belongings from Dr Seuss’ own home and office.

Hours are Monday–Saturday: 10 am–5 pm, Sunday: 11 am–5 pm and your admission tickets get you into not only the Dr Seuss museum but five others all on the same property. The Dr Seuss is such a fun stop!
