Boston, Massachusetts

The Swan Boats are located inside the Boston Common park in Boston, Massachusetts. Swan boats are exactly what they sound like boats with adorable wooden swans. Swan boats have been operating inside the Boston Common park since 1877.

Some of the boats date back to 1910 and the Swan Boats have become an official Boston landmark. The boats are driven by a single driver who sits in the swan and actually pedals guests around the lagoon.

The Swan Boats operate on the Boston Common lagoon and cannot be missed once entering the park. Tickets can be purchased onsite and are available for –

Adults $4.50

Children $3.00 (age 2 to 15 years)
Under 2 yrs. Free

Seniors $4.00

You can use cash or credit.

The Swan Boats are open seasonally from May to Labor Day. Weekdays 10am to 4 pm and Weekends 10 am to 5pm. Boats run weather permitting. It was such a lovely little boat ride! Parking is available across the street-and like all parking in Boston it has a fee. Oh and while you’re in Boston Common don’t forget to find the Make Way For Ducklings statues!
